Weekly Divination: What to Keep in Mind This Week (03 April 2022)

Greetings, gremlins! I hope you all enjoyed our time with the Heart of Faerie Oracle last month! It's a great deck that I think I need to break out a little more often. But keep an eye out! You may be seeing its older sibling, The Faeries' Oracle, in future posts like this!

However, we're moving back to one of my many tarot decks this month, and I thought it was maybe time to formally introduce you all to The Wildwood Tarot. This is one of the tarot decks that I use most often after my Celtic Dragon Tarot (which we showcased in February).

This month's card is the Four of Vessels (more traditionally known as the Four of Cups), and... I will be honest with you all. I can't help but feel like this one is calling me out a little bit.

Can you all see? There's an opening in the hedges behind the woman sitting there, looking incredibly bored with the world around her. She knows it exists there, but for whatever reason, it doesn't excite her. Perhaps it's a route she goes down on a daily basis and it has lost all the charm the path may have had at one point. Or perhaps this is simply "not now, but maybe later." Whatever the reason, it doesn't hold the same appeal for her that it may have had at one time.

That may be the same for you. Your life may have become routine. However, there's always a way to inject something new into that. All you have to do is look at things from another perspective. After all, there's always inspiration in the world around you if you know how to find it.

So don't be like this woman this week who is wallowing in her boredom and apathy. Instead, try to inject something new into the routine if you can. Shake things up a bit. It might actually be fun and cure the boredom a bit.

If you enjoyed this post and are perhaps interested in acquiring a reading of your very own, I do keep tarot commissions open over on my Ko-fi.

I also have a shop full of all of the commission readings you can find up there, plus a couple of extras I won't be sharing anywhere else. You can find it over here.
