It's a new month, so that means we break out a brand new deck for our weekly card reading! This week, the cards and I collectively decided that we'd be utilizing The Heart of Faerie Oracle for our pulls this month.

Part of the reason why I wanted to use this deck this month is that one of my commission spreads (see Ko-Fi for those; you can find the link in the sidebar here on my fanwall) utilizes this deck exclusively, and I feel like I don't tend to see a whole lot of people reading with it for one reason or another. So this month, I really wanted to show it off and give you all an idea of what a reading with this deck might be like.

This week's card made me smile a bit because we actually pulled out one of the queens from this deck, and it's my pleasure to introduce you all to the Queen of Hearth and Home! In a way, it's almost like the deck itself is saying hello because this Queen is a queen of making people feel welcome in her space. The mask she holds represents fire, the very sort of fire you might find in the hearth of someone's home.

My gaze keeps going down to the crystal ball she's holding in her hand and the little silvery fairy accompanying her before going back to her eye peeking out over the top of the mask, and in a way, I feel like she's trying to remind you to make others feel welcome in your spaces this week. Treat people with respect and kindness and they will do the same for you.

This Queen makes a home of sorts wherever she is, and she's inviting you all to do the same.
