I thought it might be fun to do these from time to time, so I decided to do a quick reading for the week (02 January 2022)! (The deck in use is the Believe In Your Own Magic Oracle Deck.)

Sword tells us to make a change, which feels fitting given that we've just entered into a new year. Now, the change you make doesn't necessarily need to be dramatic or world-changing (this could be as simple as rearranging your space or as potentially complex as leaving your current job because it no longer suits you), but you shouldn't put it off. Do the thing!

Everyone needs a little escapism from time to time, it's true, but too much means we're not being present with ourselves, and that's something we need to make the change Sword is indicating. Not confronting any issues involved in making that change isn't healthy, and it's time to pick up that sword and go at it. Try doing the thing and allow whatever happens to happen.
