Greetings, gremlins! Welcome to our first divination reading of September! Can you believe we're nine months into the year already? I'm not sure I can! It feels almost surreal to me, the knowledge that the year's almost over.

This month, I wanted to keep things simple with a vibe check, similar to what I offer on stream for some channel points, so we're back with the Believe in Your Own Magic Oracle Deck! I normally don't go on about the decks I use here, but if you haven't heard me talk about this one before, it's actually one of my newer decks, and quite possibly the most inclusive in terms of the art. The cards themselves are full of people of various ethnicities, skin tones, and body types and some of these cards even feature central figures with prosthetics or glasses, which I absolutely love. It's a very inclusive deck. I'll include a link if anyone wants to pick up a copy for themselves.

But now.... On to the reading!

Remember our usual question: what do my followers need to keep in mind this week in order to live their best lives?

Our answer comes in the form of Lavender, surrounding ourselves with love. Now, you might look at that card subtitle and assume romantic love, but that's not the only kind of love there is. There's also familial love and the love between friends, and you might be wondering which sort of love you need to surround yourself with.

If you look at the picture that goes with this card, you'll see a group of people together. This is more of a "found family" sort of situation, the people who make each other feel like they can be the best version of themselves. These are the people who aren't going to judge you and love you for who you actually are, not who you might pretend to be for the rest of the world.

If you have one of those, is it possible you've been putting some distance between yourself and them? If so, make an effort to reconnect with them this week. They miss you, and everyone needs a group of people around them who love them unconditionally.

But maybe you haven't found one yet, and if not, that's okay. Not everyone has. However, it would be to your benefit to start attempting to find one. Try to make new connections this week! You'll be happier for it.

After all, we all need people who love us just as we are.
