Greetings, gremlins, and welcome to our first card pull for the month of July!

The weather is heating up, and it felt appropriate to bring out the Egyptian Art Nouveau Tarot for readings this month. I don't read with this deck very often, but when I do, I'm reminded just how much I love it. Not only does it speak to one of my favorite periods in history (although I think everyone probably went through an Ancient Egypt phase as a kid), but the authors of the deck took the time to consider which cards of the Major Arcana best suited the gods of the period. It's a gorgeous deck and I feel lucky to own it.

As always, before we get to this week's reading, please make sure you are all nice and cozy before you continue reading this post. This is not necessarily a reflection of what card will be drawn. In fact, I'm typing this bit before I've even drawn a card. However, I find that coziness helps put me in a better space to receive whatever message the cards may have for me.

Also, please remember that this is a general reading for the collective. It might resonate with you or it might not, and that's fine. Take what you need from this or don't. It's entirely your choice.

Now that we've gone through our reading preamble, let's get into our card for the week and answer our usual question: "What do my followers need to keep in mind to live their best lives this week?"

Our answer this week comes in the form of the Ace of Cups, and honestly, I adore the design of the aces in this deck. This particular one feels like a good thing for this week because there are an abundance of things coming, so much so that your cup is quite literally overflowing.

This week is a good time to practice self-love, to embrace creativity and whatever inspiration may come your way, because there will be so much of it available to you if you only let yourself run with it. Now might be a good time to take on a new creative project. This particular ace can also herald new love or conception, and while I'm not getting that particular feeling off of this card right now, I feel like I wouldn't be doing my due diligence if I didn't at least mention it.

Either way, folks, new things are coming or already here, and it's time to embrace them. And don't forget to have fun!
