Greetings, gremlins! Welcome to our first card pull of December!

Can you believe 2023 is almost over? Where did the time go?

(Seriously, though, do any of you know? Because I know time is a weird soup and all, but I feel like the year went by far too quickly this year for whatever reason.)

Anyhow, we're closing out this year using my favorite oracle deck: the Believe in Your Own Magic Oracle! You know it, you love it. It's always by the side of my desk. It's the deck I do vibe checks with on stream... it's just all around a very good deck to keep on hand.

So without further ado, let's get to our weekly card, which, of course, is answering the question:  "What do my followers need to keep in mind to live their best lives this week?"

Our answer comes in the form of Lavender, surrounding ourselves with love. Now, you might look at that card subtitle and assume romantic love, but that's not the only kind of love there is. There's also familial love and the love between friends, and you might be wondering which sort of love you need to surround yourself with.

If you look at the picture that goes with this card, you'll see a group of people together. This is more of a "found family" sort of situation, the people who make each other feel like they can be the best version of themselves. These are the people who aren't going to judge you and love you for who you actually are, not who you might pretend to be for the rest of the world.

If you have one of those, is it possible you've been putting some distance between yourself and them? If so, make an effort to reconnect with them this week. They miss you, and everyone needs a group of people around them who love them unconditionally.

But maybe you haven't found one yet, and if not, that's okay. Not everyone has. However, it would be to your benefit to start attempting to find one. Try to make new connections this week! You'll be happier for it.

After all, we all need people who love us just as we are.
