• Mythological May~

Greetings, gremlins! I meant to get this out for the first of May, but the universe unfortunately conspired against me. (Got to love that.)

Anyway, this is mostly a Twitch streaming update! (Brace yourselves.)

As many of you know, we did some fundraising back in December for the Trans Lifeline, and before we get much further, I want to take a second to once again thank everyone who contributed to the fundraiser. Thanks to that, we were able to help out an organization that really needed it, and I will forever be grateful to our chaotically cozy community for that.

At the time, I said if we met our fundraising goal, we'd play a game from the Wheel of Horror, but I have yet to make good on that promise.

Well, guess what? Starting this Sunday (May 5), we will finally be streaming Bramble: The Mountain King every Sunday over on Twitch until the game is completed.

If you're unfamiliar with the game, this one actually came out last year (2023) and tells the story of a boy setting out on an adventure to rescue his kidnapped sister from the mythological creatures of Scandinavian folklore. As someone kind of fond of the folklore from that region, I've been excited to check this game out.

However, Bramble: The Mountain King also comes with trigger warnings the minute you load the game up. While this is great as it allows me to compile a list of trigger warnings for you all much like I did during our Horrorpalooza in 2022, the list makes me think this is going to be a very dark game.

I said this during our Horrorpalooza, and I will say this again now. While I appreciate that all of you want to support the channel and me, I don't want anybody to damage their mental health for me. This is why I try to compile a list of trigger warnings for you all before we get into games like this. If you feel like you need to duck out at any point, I want you to know it is okay to do that. You do not owe me or anyone else in chat an explanation as to why you're leaving, either. Please take care of your mental health. That is most important to me.

Hopefully, I'll be okay with this one, but... we'll see. At least I have a hoard of plush to cuddle.

As anxious as I am about this, I am looking forward to it, so hopefully, I will see you all on Sunday for our first foray into Bramble: The Mountain King!
