Greetings, gremlins, and welcome to our first weekly card pull of Pride Month! Yes, it's that time of the year again, when the various members of the LGBTQIA+ community come together to revel in their existence. Of course, not everyone agrees, but Pride Month is a time to celebrate who we are and remind ourselves how far we've come.

This month, we're drawing cards from the Believe In Your Own Magic Oracle because, well, while this can be a happy month for many, that's not always the case for some people. Some people may flock to Pride celebrations but have to keep who they are to themselves when they go back home. So this month, I wanted everyone to remember that they're magical whether they're out and proud or still in the closet.

So without further ado, let's answer our usual question, "What do my followers need to keep in mind to live their best lives this week?"

Our answer comes in the form of Shark, reminding us that some situations need to be moved away from for our own happiness.

You may wonder, "Wouldn't I recognize a situation like that?"

Well, unfortunately, that isn't always the case. Sometimes, we find ourselves in a situation that isn't always the healthiest for us, but it's difficult to tell. Maybe we're blind to the faults of the situation. Maybe we're so convinced that whatever this thing is is the best thing for us right now that we keep trying and trying to make that thing work when the reality is that we would be better off anywhere else other than where we are.

You deserve something that fits you so much better than whatever this thing is. You would be better off without the thing that's holding you back, and there is a part of you that knows this whether you've admitted it to yourself or not.

Take some time to sit with this this week and figure out what you need to let go of and if you can safely swim away from the situation. If it turns out this isn't something you can do alone, don't be afraid to ask your friends and family for help if you need it. They will absolutely help you if it means helping you stay safe.
