Weekly Divination Reading: What to Keep in Mind This Week (01 December 2024)
Greetings, gremlins, and welcome to our first card pull for the month of December! Can you believe the year is winding to a close? I certainly can't. It's strange thinking that 2024 is almost over, and we'll be in 2025 in a mere matter of weeks. It's strange to think about, especially with things being the way they are here.
As we're at the end of the year, I'm bringing back the vibe check deck, aka the Believe In Your Own Magic Oracle. The winter holidays can be a lot for a lot of people, after all, and I feel like this is the energy we need to close out the year.
However, because things are going the way they are, I hope that you'll decide to take care of yourselves today. I hope that you have a mug of your favorite warm beverage of choice, maybe that you'll even wrap yourselves up in a fuzzy blanket. At the time I'm writing this paragraph, I haven't even started interpreting the card I pulled yet, so please don't think that my wanting you all to feel comfortable is in any way a reflection on our card for the week because it isn't. This is just me wanting y'all to be nice and cozy because those are the vibes I try to cultivate on a daily basis.
But now, let's get into our card for the week and answer our usual question: "What do my followers need to keep in mind to live their best lives this week?"
We have a new one for us this week: Clover, a reminder to release your guilt.
Something in your life has been weighing on you, and although I can't say what that thing is because it's going to be unique to you and your situation and this is a reading for the collective, I can say for certain that we all have something like that. It could be regret over actions we didn't take or things we didn't say. And over time, that does build up and weigh heavily upon us. We feel guilty for not doing whatever that thing was or not saying whatever it is, and over time, it can pile up. It can negatively impact every single aspect of our lives to the point where we not only have difficulty functioning, but also have difficulty remembering who we are and what it is we're trying to accomplish in our lives.
And here's the thing: we can't go back and change the things we either did or did not do. We can't go back in time and say something that we wished we had at the time. All we can do is try to move forward and release the guilt that's still clinging to us.
How do you do that is going to look different for everybody, though. Are there things you need to do or say to someone to start to let go? Do that if you need to. Then metaphorically take that guilt, toss it into the fire, and let it go. It isn't serving your higher good, and clinging to it isn't helping you whatsoever.
It's okay to let it go.
